I have worn glasses for over 23 years. Every summer I think-- "I should really get some prescription sunglasses." But, the summer months come and go and another year has passed without appropriate eye wear. However, yesterday was the magical day. I got real sunglasses that I can see with. I picked them up today and wore them home. Driving with sunglasses was fabulous. Why have I waited so long?
I went for a walk this afternoon. I noticed that everything looks more "rosy" with my new glasses. "Seeing the world through rose colored glasses" has new meaning. The world really does look better. And hopefully it will make next week's cloudy forecast for Hawaii look even better too!
