I have overwhelming feelings of gratitude for how good my life is. The last few days have filled my cup and reminded me that Life is Really Good. As I mentioned in an earlier post, on Friday I went to the temple with the Women's Conference committee, then to lunch with the same. On Saturday I was able to attend the General Relief Society meeting, with my mom, at the Conference Center in Salt Lake. The speakers were inspiring and being there with nearly 20,000 other women who are trying their best to be women of Christ and live the gospel was doubly inspiring. Being with my mom was the best.
Today my parents went to church with me. There were so many people who told my parents how much they loved me and were glad that I was in the neighborhood. It was touching. I really do living in an amazing place. The meetings at church were filled with the Spirit. In sacrament meeting we had Elder Hallstrom of the Presidency of the Seventy give closing remarks. His nephew was leaving for a mission in Louisana. His talk was so powerful. The Sunday school lesson and Relief Society lessons were equally good.
Living the Gospel of Jesus Christ gives my life meaning, purpose and direction, and it makes me happy. God's plan for His children is the Plan of Happiness!
Life Is So Good.

I loved this post. Soooo good. Thank you for the reminder. As I was getting ready this morning, I thought, man I really miss Dr. Thackeray...Dr. T :) Yep, it's true. Hope school and all the transitions are going well. I love that I can turn to your blog for all types of fun reads...and especially when I need perspective.
Thank you and glad you had such a great weekend!
Mmm...I'm having one of those days, too!
